hello, I am Zak. i grew up in richmond R.I. a small laid back town. My dad is a carpenter and my mom is an artist, they both encouraged art and being creative. as a kid i would take just about anything and re-make it into something else i was always drawing or painting something. As i grew older i learned the skills of carpentry residential and high end. i moved to the city of providence and started creating furniture and household wares for my personal use. my friends and family responded in a positve manner so i decided to continue creating whatever i could.
its been four years since the start of my furniture. i have lived in pittsburgh for almost two years and has inspired me in different directions. ive come to a point that i can polish my re-made furniture to make it more elegant and appealing.
